Reach South Sheffield started life as Gleadless Valley Community Forum in 1999, with funding from SRB2. We received support initially from Heeley Development Trust, which employed staff on our behalf. In 2003, we became a registered charity and started employing our own staff in 2004. In 2009, we expanded our services into neighbouring communities – primarily Lowedges, Batemoor and Jordanthorpe – and we changed our name to reflect this.

Today, Reach employs more than 20 full and part time staff and works with around ??? people per year. In 2019, we celebrate our 20th anniversary and have supported around ?????? since we started life in 1999.
