Working For Us

  • Reach South Sheffield is run by a team of 19 full time and part time staff members, and around 35 volunteers.
  • Our organisation is proud to be a living wage employer.

Why join our team?

Our employment support worker, Lee Knight, really enjoys helping local people from our community get back into employment because “it enables them to regain their independence and be empowered.”

Kim Hinchcliffe is the coordinator of our Herdings Growers Project and is very involved in our Fitbus. He has been working in the community for nearly 6 years now and feels that  “the local people are so friendly and down to earth, and I like how much they appreciate it when you have helped them in some way. I also love all the woodland and green spaces in the area and the wildlife that this supports.”

As a health practitioner, Pete Bird supports people to make positive changes to their lifestyle in order to improve their physical and mental wellbeing and he loves being able to “make a difference to people’s lives.”
