Reach Employment and Learning Centre

Reach Employment and Learning Centre offers a range of courses  and learning opportunities to the residents of Gleadless Valley, Lowedges, Batemoor, Jordanthorpe and surrounding local areas. We also have a computer centre (Reach Online Centre) at 187 Blackstock Road S14 1FX offering FREE internet access and employment support.

With Learn My Way and First Click there are lots of interesting free courses for you to do, helping you to build your computer skills at the same time, even if you are a complete beginner.

We can help you:

  • Get an email address in less than 10 minutes
  • Learn valuable skills and knowledge at the click of a button
  • Achieve level 2 food hygiene (online course)
Drop-in times for Reach Employment and Learning Centre
  • Monday 09:00-12:00 (closed pm)
  • Tuesday 09.00-12.00 and 13.00-16.00*
  • Wednesday 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00
  • Thursday 09:00-12:00  and 13:00-16:00*
  • Friday by appointment only

All of our courses are offered in local venues where community learning is fun and will help to build your confidence so that you can move forward and enjoy learning.  Whether you are looking for some informal training or want to build your skills to get ahead in the job market, we have a wide range of courses available.

  • English & maths literacy levels 1 & 2
  • ESOL from pre-entry up to level 1
