Timebuilders Health and Well-being Project: Well-being Coordinator

Employed by and based within Reach South Sheffield. Salary: £21000 - full time. Contract Period: until 3rd June 2021

Timebuilders is an innovative volunteering initiative developed by St Mary’s Bramall Lane. It uses Time Credits to release unused assets in the community, incentivising and enabling the active participation of people who are often seen to be passive recipients of services. Reach South Sheffield is a key deliverer of health focused interventions in south Sheffield.

St Mary’s and Reach have recently been awarded funding by the Big Lottery to develop the Timebuilders model in Gleadless Valley and surrounding south Sheffield communities.

This is a key new role funded by the Reaching Communities Fund. The purpose is to work across both partner organisations to embed the awareness and practice of Time Credits across the range of activities delivered by Reach while working in partnership with Timebuilders staff from St Mary’s to develop new and exciting interventions to grow the project and maximise community benefit.

The post holder will enable Timebuilders to operate as an effective partnership involving statutory agencies in the project as required, to develop referral pathways and productive networks with a clear focus on the promotion of improved health and wellbeing within south Sheffield. Delivery will be in the communities of Gleadless Valley, Lowedges and Batemoor/Jordanthorpe with some delivery also taking place in Greenhill, Beauchief, Heeley and Gleadless.

Closing date for applications: 12.00 noon on Monday 4th June. Interviews: Monday 11th June.   For further information or an application pack, contact Steve Rundell on 0114 235 8642 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
